BLU1000 Series simplifies battery testing in multiple ways. The instrument provides monitoring of discharge parameters (grap<hical and numerical) on 7 inch touch screen display. Parameters such as battery voltage,capacity, test current / power / resistance and elapsed time can be monitored in real time. As an addition, the instrument enables measurement and monitoring of cell parameters (voltage/intercell voltage/temperature) with BVS system, which makes it a complete stand-alone discharge test system.
Besides the capacity test, BLU1000 Series can be used to completely and efficiently discharge a battery down to 0 V. Such total discharge is applied to Li cells at the end of their lifetime, as the initial step of the recycling process.
BLU1000 Series includes 2 models:
- BLU1000C
- BLU1000Z
Both models provides all features and options of the BLU-C Series, including discharge down to 0V. The difference is related to the battery discharge below 5 V:
BLU1000C will discharge the battery by selecting minimum resistance (and current will decrease as the voltage decrease).
BLU1000Z, having built-in Zero Voltage Discharge (ZVD) module, provides constant current discharge (up to 50 A) down to 0 V.
Transport of Li battery systems, due to safety reasons, requires batteries to be partially discharged. BLU1000 Series provides special discharge mode enabling batteries to be discharged to customer predefined voltage level.
BLU1000 Series can also be controlled by the DV-B Win software, enabling detailed numerical and graphical presentation of key parameters,including report creating in various formats.
